Formerly Vice-President of Australian Legal Resources International (ALRI).
ALRI was an Australian non-government organisation of Australian judges and lawyers, working with developing countries on issues of democratic processes, good governance, anti corruption and human rights.
ALRI has provided research and development support for Indonesia and East Timor in their legal reform processes.
This included liaison activities with Indonesian Ministries of Justice, Forestry and Mining and the Attorney-General's Department, non-government organisations, political parties in Indonesia and the World Bank, International Monetary Fund and Asia Development Bank. Close working associations were established with the United Nations in the East Timor project.
